Let’s not forget the fabulous Inverness 4th of July Parade and Festivities!!
1:00pm: At 1pm, we start lining up for the parade on Inverway, just between Thornhill and Baldwin. Anyone is welcome to participate, and we’re excited to have the Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District and Palatine Township Road Division join our parade this year! Decorate your cars, trucks, motorcycles, bikes, scooters, wagons, etc.!! However, if you’re on a motorcycle, bike, or scooter, you must wear a helmet! If you’re going to throw candy, please make it nut-free!
1:30pm: The parade kicks off at 1:30pm and ends at the North Park Field House at 300 N. Highland Road, Inverness, where we’ll begin our 4th of July celebration!
2:00pm-4:00pm: From 2-4pm, enjoy the festivities with your family and friends! The Hometown Ice Cream Social party is free to all Inverness residents and their guests. Join us for a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, balloon art, bouncy house and obstacle course, and new this year, dance party! If you attended our awesome Easter Party this year, you know what I’m talking about! Music, games, prizes, and so much fun. Of course, we’ll have hot dogs and ice cream, too!
