We had a wonderful time at the Inverness Community Association’s Member Appreciation reception on Saturday, November 9th. The Inverness Golf Club did a spectatular job with the food and rooms. It was nice to meet other Inverness residents, some living in the area for 38 years, 28 years, 5 years, and others just 2 months. We also got to socialize with Trustee Kral and Trustee Willis, as well as Police Chief Haas.
Turns out we have some pretty savvy Inverness history buffs in town! We held an Inverness Trivia contest to win one of our fabulous baskets. Jim & Marlene Perrucci won the basket with a perfect score! Well done.
If you weren’t able to join us this year, please be on the lookout for a wine-tasting in the Spring, grown-ups only! We’ll add this event to our calendar next year, as well. Of course, we’ll have our annual Easter Party in the Spring, too.
This is our last event of 2013, but we will begin our membership drive for 2014 and our annual Red Book information update request for all Inverness residents. This book is used my many other groups within Inverness, such as the Police Department, the Palatine Rural Fire Department, and even the Village staff. So let’s be sure to return those forms!
As always, the Inverness Community Association thanks you for your continued support. If you’re interested in getting involved, we’d love to hear from you! Drop us a line at email@example.com or contact one of the board members directly (our info is on the Board page).
